Putting the pen back to the page...
It sure has been a long time since I have visited this blog. I don't know what happened, but I completely forgot that I had created this wonderful place to share my thoughts. So much has happened in the past two years in my life. I guess I do know why I forgot. Shortly after creating this blog, I received a full time contract teaching grade 1. What a busy year that was! Since then, I got pregnant and miscarried 12 weeks later. It was devastating. We were so excited to be bringing a little life into the world and then suddenly it was ripped away from us. You never know how much miscarriage hurts until you experience it yourself. Amazingly, a short 3 months after we conceived again. Just last June I gave birth to a wonderful little boy. E has changed my life in so many ways that I never could imagine prior to his birth. Every day I wake up to his smiling and laughing face. What could be a better wake up call?
